“I have worked in the area of compensation and bonus systems, restructuring and acquisition for over 15 years. I have built a strong expertise working hand in hand with savvy managers in such sectors as e-commerce, IT, finance, banking and also energy, construction, logistics.

My management experience helps me put on an employer’s hat when dealing with the legal challenges. Employers look not only at legal and formal aspects but mainly at business and practical implications. Compensation/bonus systems are not just about company policies or bylaws but a motivation instrument affecting business performance and people engagement. Restructuring that involves redundancies is not only about redundancy rules but mainly about additional cost for the employer, including public relations and staff anxiety. In fact, the same pattern can be found in each area of labour relations. My job as a lawyer is to combine all these perspectives, i.e. business, practical and legal. You can check my credentials here.

I received a degree in law from the University of Wrocław and then PhD at Koźminski Academy, I also completed a postgraduate course in HR management at the Academy of Economics in Wrocław, and then I completed a management course at the Helsinki School of Economics.
I am committed to personal development:

  • I study to prepare for the classes that I teach: at Prof. Rosner’s Institute at the Chief Labour Inspectorate since 2003, and as a visiting professor for a post-graduate course at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities,
  • I publish articles and case studies,
  • and appearing as a speaker at industry conferences.

I had the honour of serving on the Legal Committee of the Chief Labour Inspectorate in 2004-2005. I worked for the State Labour Inspectorate where I was responsible for collective bargaining and trade unions for several years.”
